As 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to take some time to reflect on the “state of business” here at Topspin and offer our readers my thoughts on how the year progressed.
We started this year with making a great new hire in Katie Cooney to add to our creative team. On the other side of the spectrum, Chris Connolly, our VP/Production Supervisor, celebrated his 20th year at Topspin, which shows his unwavering dedication to the team and the passion he brings to Topspin everyday. By far the best celebrations were the ones that were “unexpected”….hearing about the accomplishments that happened in everyday life. A winning basket scored, a new school year started with success, new kitchen (Matt), new home! (Angela) as that is what makes each team meeting enjoyable.
I would view this as year of “MORE”
- More Digital Programs. As our CPG clients dealt with the “bottom falling out” of the drug channel, we prepared more digital assets/programs for Amazon, streaming services and other retailers as they tried to make up the volume.
- More Global Events. “Topspin went global!” — A relationship with Bausch & Lomb Canada and developed materials for other RX clients from events ranging from Italy to China to Guam; we did more overseas than ever before!
- More Fun. Our quarterly team events, be it wine tasting or professional ping pong instruction, keep getting better and better.
In the end, the year brought out the best in everyone. Our creative was better, more breakthroughs and our clients responded with gratitude and MORE projects! Everyone at Topspin is looking forward to a great 2025!
